Free Kuwait Campaign
Kuwaitis who were caught outside their nation on August 2, 1990, assembled in various large Western cities and immediately began organizing a movement to end Iraq's occupation. Later they were joined by more Kuwaitis who had fled from the invaders. The first major march took place on September 9 under the auspices of the Free Kuwait Campaign. Nearly every Kuwaiti in London participated and they were joined by citizens from Britain and many other nations.
